Beverly Isaac has been a full-time practicing artist since 1986. She achieved her degree in
Fine Art (Sculpture) at Victoria College in 1986 and a diploma of Education at University of
Melbourne 1991. Although an accomplished painter and sculptor, Bev is best known to Melbournians
as the city’s most prolific and original pavement artist. In 1992 she co-founded Chalk Circle with
Peter Voice to tour Canada, Britain and Europe. The group is still working at the highest level on the
International Festival circuit and Beverly’s work regularly achieves front-page coverage.
She has maintained a pavement art gallery at Melbourne's Southbank for years and painted the stunning
series of Dockland's landscapes "A View from a Window" in her studio. She is currently working on a nursery
rhyme series whilst creating new pieces at Southbank.
Bev has conducted life-drawing, sculpture and pavement drawing workshops since 1986 and has inspired
literally thousands of artists of all ages.
