"A View From A Window #5"

Realising the potential of her window was too great to abandon so easily, Beverly took photos of the first four paintings to Frank Hutchinson, the building's owner. Frank promptly agreed to allow Bev the neccessary access to continue working. This next painting is superb, in the middle ground is the old iron roof of Festival Hall, the House of Stoush, and the scene of countless concert memories, beyond it the new sports and entertainment centre, Colonial Stadium, begins to rise, cranes every-where. The tranquility of Jimmy's cafe at once belies and emphasises the frenetic activity behind it and the Four'n'Twenty sign is an unmistakable stamp of place to any Victorian.
