"A View From A Window #3"

In the Spring of '97, pavement art, a series of workshops at Melb. Zoo and a three week project in Christchurch, N.Z. with Chalk Circle kept Bev out of the studio. This smaller work on masonite was painted over an exceptionally hot couple of days in February 1998. Again we are treated to a sensational sky looking over a landscape dominated by the Westgate Bridge. The lone coastal freighter is quietly mooring, again, in Swanston Dock as the beginnings of the formwork and reinforcing for the Bolte Bridge rise on the shore. To the left, middle- ground is one of the southern pylons under construction.
